Templated Web Design For All 50 States
This was created to help promote local companies nationwide to partner with TEGNA. We wanted the landing page to promote key information that all states could easily understand and bring their business to TEGNA so the local news could promote and advertise them. We wanted the webpage to be eye-appealing and somewhat interactive flowed well with users and that could be easily transitioned from state to state. Through this, we did a design sprint, testing, and then designing and deploying the final product. This was a bit quicker of a project as it was just a one-page landing page with a broad demographic.
Create an infinite scrolling webpage that engages local businesses to do business with TEGNA
The page is for engaging local businesses to increase their presence through a televised source and how to go about that. As a local news industry, we wanted to reach out to local businesses to increase local attention and bring about more business to these stores. This would help increase regional economic growth instead of contributing to large corporations.
I took a look at other advertising agencies and saw how they laid out their page how they made it engaging to get in contact with them, and the selling points that they made to increase their reception of clients. I wanted to achieve something similar and took these down as best practice I also looked into how these agencies. My text task was to look into how our Be In Good Company branding was laid out so that way I could ensure we were keeping up with our brand guidelines and online presence. After getting a sense of our look and what we wanted from the page, I started implementing this into a Low-fidelity stage. Afterward, I tested internally to get feedback on what needed to be changed and improved.
After the prototyping phase I learned that it needed to be an infinite-type scroll page were the user didn’t need to guess by clicking on any of the pages. This way they could easily just scroll through the page get all their information and then move on to the contact page. This way they could easily get in contact with TEGNA and start doing business.
