Endless Endeavor
Browns Vs Bengals
Sports templates that cover every major sports league and team. Each After Effect project controls team and team colors and has an option for a custom team. This custom option was used for new teams, college teams, and highschool teams that news stations covered. All leagues that were covered are NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, MLS, NWSL, Golf, Tennis, and Car Racing. each one is easily customizable allowing the user to create an open, transition, and lower third in minutes.
The global sport that has come to North America. I had the privilege of working on the opens, transitions, and fullscreens for this major sporting event for all local news stations under the TEGNA umbrella. In this project I worked on all United States cities that the games would be played in and for the stations that are in those areas. Creating the openings showcase some historical photos of fifa as well as unique designs for each state that is based on the FIFA design guidelines.
This was my thesis project detailing the abilities of AI before it became as big as it is now. It went over how AI needed to be heavily regulated and what it could and couldn’t do for the time. I utilized a lot of 3D motion design and elements in this project that would blend seamlessly with 2D animation. I used blender to model all the pieces mechanically and Cinema 4d with Xparticle to create the animation and motion. Then all of it was put into after effects for polish and final touches.
Bengals vs Browns has been a heated rivalry for as long as both teams have resided in the state of Ohio. In 2023 they finally hit their 100th game rivalry. In the project it showcases an explainer video going over key aspects of what happened over the course of that time using TEGNA’s new road style and my own design techniques to create a contemporary motion piece that captivates audiences on this special event.
